Supply Capability

If you are buying cutting tools from a supplier you have never met, there are really only three questions that matter: who is actually behind the website, where does the stock physically sit, and what happens after I pay. This page answers all three, with photographs from our own premises rather than stock imagery.

YCHL Tools is run by Beijing Henglang Precision Tools Co., Ltd. (北京衡朗精密工具有限公司). We have been selling cutting tools over the counter and into machine shops for more than ten years — longer than we have had this website. The website is new; the business behind it is not.

The company behind the website

A registered trading company with a physical tooling store and a separate export office. Both addresses are real, staffed, and can be checked against Chinese business registration records.

Where the stock physically is

Our Yancheng store sits inside a tooling and hardware trading city, which means we are surrounded by insert stock and can physically check, count and pick boxes before an order leaves. These are photographs taken on our own premises.

Stock walk-through video

Photographs can be staged. Video is much harder to fake. Below are two clips filmed on our own premises — no editing, no stock footage, shot on a phone. If you want a clip of your own model number being picked off the shelf and boxed, ask for it in the RFQ; there is no charge for it.

What we can actually supply

The figures below are counted from the live catalogue on this site, not marketing round numbers. We currently list 5,422 stock-keeping variants across 586 ISO insert models.

Measure Count What it means for you
Stock-keeping variants 5,422 Model + grade + chipbreaker combinations we can quote on
ISO insert models 586 Distinct sizes such as CNMG 120408, WNMG 080408, APKT 1604
Insert families 126 Shape series such as CNMG, DNMG, WNMG, APMT, SDMT
Carbide grades 49 Different grades for steel, stainless, cast iron, heat-resistant alloys
Chipbreaker geometries 68 Finishing, medium and roughing options within the same model
Brands held Achteck, HADSTO (Deskar and other brands on request) Multiple makers, so one enquiry can return several alternatives

Start from the turning insert catalogue or the milling insert catalogue. If you cannot find your size, send us the code anyway — a large part of what we ship is matched manually against a photo or a worn sample.

How multi-brand supply works

We work as a multi-brand supplier and sourcing partner: we hold and source stock across several makers, and match your application to whichever one fits rather than pushing a single catalogue at you.

That has a practical upside for a buyer:

  • One enquiry, several options. Send one model number and you can receive a comparable option from more than one maker, with the differences spelled out.
  • Better behaviour on awkward jobs. If a grade keeps chipping on interrupted cuts, we are not locked into defending one brand’s answer.
  • Honest substitution. If your exact code is unavailable we say so, and offer the closest equivalent with the geometry difference explained — not a silent swap.

If your purchasing process calls for particular documentation, tell us what is needed when you enquire and we will confirm what we can supply on paper before you commit.

Packaging and how an order actually leaves

Inserts leave in the maker’s original box wherever possible, so the grade and chipbreaker codes stay readable in your stores. Boxes are then grouped and packed into a carton for dispatch.

Step What happens Who does it
1. Enquiry You send a model number, a photo, a worn sample, or a cutting condition You
2. Matching and quotation We match it against the catalogue, confirm availability, and quote with alternatives if useful Beijing office
3. Picking and packing Boxes are pulled from stock in Yancheng, checked against the order, and packed into a carton Yancheng store
4. Dispatch In-stock items are dispatched within 1–2 working days of order confirmation, with tracking shared Beijing office

We can photograph your packed carton and the box labels before it ships, so what you approved is what arrives. This is the single most requested thing from first-time buyers and we do it as standard on request.

Terms buyers ask about first

Question Our answer
Minimum order quantity One maker box, which is typically 10 inserts for common ISO sizes. Mixed boxes can sometimes be assembled for a trial — ask.
Dispatch time for stocked items 1–2 working days from order confirmation.
Items not held in stock Sourced from our supplier network; we give you an honest lead time before you commit, rather than quoting a fast date and missing it.
Samples / trial orders Supported. A small trial order is the normal way new customers start with us.
How to get a price Add items to the RFQ basket and send it, or message us the model list directly. No online card payment — this is a quoted B2B process.
Payment terms Quoted per order. Tell us what your purchasing department requires and we will work to it where we can.

Documents and proof we can send

Two stock walk-through videos are already on this page. Everything below is available on request, free of charge, before you place an order:

  • Business licence for Beijing Henglang Precision Tools Co., Ltd.
  • Walk-through video — a clip of your own model number being picked off the shelf and boxed, filmed when we prepare your order.
  • Packaging detail photographs — maker box, label and packed carton.
  • Photographs of your actual order being picked and packed.

Technical support, in practical terms

Support here means finding the right insert, not reading out a datasheet. In practice that means: identifying an insert from a photo of a worn one, explaining what a chipbreaker code means for your finish, and choosing a grade when your current one is chipping or wearing too fast.

Start with a small trial order

The usual way new customers test us is one maker box of the size they use most, or a single problem size they cannot get right locally. Send the model number, a photo, or just the workpiece material and operation — we will come back with what we can supply and what it costs.
